Today we were woken up by the usual morning playlist at 7:30 am instead of 7:00 am as we had a late night due to the feast and party where we had last night to say goodbye to all of our friends at the Molly and Paul school in Kamuzinda. Once we were all awake and ready for the day we headed down to breakfast at 8:00 am. Today’s breakfast consisted of a couple of hot drinks, cereal, toast, eggy bread, bananas and passionfruit. After everyone had finished breakfast a few small groups of students headed off to classrooms to teach lessons which they had previously planned back at RLS.The students that weren’t teaching lessons stayed at the mission house to pack their own bags, paint the back of the mission house, strip the beds so that all the sheets could be washed and they even helped load suitcases and packed hand luggage into the luggage van.When the groups that had gone off to teach lessons returned to the mission house they packed their remaining bags, after this we all sat down for our last lunch at Kamuzinda which had a stunning view of the school and area that surrounds it.We all then loaded our personal bags onto the coasters that would later take us to Bunjakko.While we were doing this many of the friends we had made in Kamuzinda made their way from the school to the mission house to say goodbye to us which made many of us fall into floods of tears knowing that we would miss them.We then got onto the coasters and drove out of the school while the students of Molly and Paul school Kamuzinda waved goodbye to us. On our way to Bunjakko we stopped off at the Equator for half an hour to do some shopping and grab a quick snack. After we had all had a shop and a snack we set off once again for Bunjakko,it took us around 40 minutes to reach Bunjakko and we were greeted with open arms,some singing and traditional dancing. We then made our way to the house in which we are staying and sorted out which room everyone is going to sleep in for the next 6 nights.Our group had barely even settled into our rooms when the staff at the school called us for dinner which consisted of rice, noodles, pea curry, chicken, pork, watermelon and pineapple.This meal was enjoyed by all of us and we are very grateful for all of our hosts throughout this trip. Jenny gave us a quick team meeting after dinner and then everyone helped to move suitcases into the main house.We were then given free time until 10:00 pm and lights out is at 11:00 pm.
