Day 13

Written by Emily Mansell and Grace Barber

Today we got woken up by the playlist starting with hotel california, the same song that starts the playlist everyday. We were all ready for breakfast at 7.30am as that was our normal routine but breakfast was at 8am instead. We had a pretty calm and chill day settling in, we unloaded donations from the suitcases in one house and took the empty suitcases to the other house. It was a wet and rainy morning with thunder and lightning, but we did a tour of the school during this weather and it was very fun but slippery. We had lots of trips to the tuck shop getting new snacks to try. We made new friendships and in the afternoon we were talking and playing sports. In the afternoon when it was sunny there was a big game of football and many ball games.  Although we do miss Kamuzinda SOOO much we are so glad as we feel so welcomed and loved here at Bunjakko. We then went for dinner and had fish, chips and rice. After dinner some people went to chill in their rooms and some people went to church. We went to church and did praying and a little bit of dancing with the students, which made us feel even more welcomed and helped us to feel happy after leaving kamuzinda. Then when church was over we hung out with our little group and we went to sleep at around 10pm.
