Day 17

Written by Sophie-May Williams

Today we woke up listening to the same playlist as every other day. This morning Kiera woke up to the music for the first time this whole trip, we are very proud of her. For breakfast we had, watermelon, bananas, scrambled egg and toast. Today, me and Ella ate 6 bananas each and now Ella finally likes bananas, you’re welcome Susie. After we ate breakfast ,we went to St Mary’s Bunjako primary school. At the school we played a game of netball which we won but sadly we lost the football match due to penalties. We then came back to the school and had lunch, we had rice, noodles and fruits. We then got  assigned jobs, which were carpentry and painting. Some groups got to go down to Bunjako markets and got snacks and some people bought football shirts. After a long afternoon we had dinner and Henry organised a quiz night for us. After the quiz we went out to the bonfire and enjoyed talking with the children around the fire . Then after we hung out with everyone we went to sleep around 10 pm and lights have to be out by 11 pm .
